 Livingston County - Bureau of Juvenile Justice - W. J. Maxey Training School - 9036 E. M-36, Whitmore Lake, MI 48189, a high security residential treatment facility for male delinquent State ward who may exhibit hostile or aggressive residents.

(2) Psychiatrists needed part-time (approx. 16 hours weekly) to provide professional psychiatric services on-site. Must be currently licensed by the State Of Michigan according to the functions and activities specified and allowed by license to evaluate youth referred by the treatment staff, prescribe and monitor use of psychotropic medication, develop treatment objectives and strategies based on findings. Screen youth referred to sex offender program and provide written documentation of findings. Communicate with treatment teams; discuss findings and recommendations for inclusion in court reports and treatment records.

Unit Rate Contract: One (1) unit equals one hour (60 minutes) of psychiatric services.

 Saginaw County, Service #1: Legal Intervention - includes guardianship/conservatorship for clients referred by the local DHS. $35 maximum reimbursement per unit, which is one unit equals legal intervention services provided to a client for one month.
Service #2: Representative Payee - The Representative Payee has the duty to receive and manage benefit payments on behalf of the beneficiary referred by the local DHS. $35 is the maximum reimbursement per unit, defined as services provided to a client for one month.

The Contractor must be qualified and experienced.

 The MDHS is seeking statewide bids for three year actual cost contracts from appropriately qualified vendors to strengthen and enhance services for the state's homeless youth and runaway (HYR) under the age of 21. This RFP seeks to develop a more integrated system of services along a continuum of care. This continuum will include basic care centers that offer temporary shelter, transitional independent living programs for youth who cannot be reunited with their families and are in need of long-term support; and redesigned street outreach, prevention and crisis intervention.   Bidders will be required to submit proposals that include sufficient funding for all three of the service areas as defined in this RFP.

With respect to residential services, the RFP aims to highlight the distinctive roles and responsibilities of basic care centers (BCC) and transitional housing programs to ensure the efficient allocation of scarce resources. It seeks to promote improvements in services for all homeless youth, as well as to better address the needs of specific groups of youth such as foster care alumni, lesbian/gay/bi-sexual/transgender (LGBTQ) youth and pregnant and parenting youth.

Purchase and administer immunizations as necessary and make referrals to local medical providers for follow-up.

Contracts may be awarded to provide services in each of the following counties: Macomb County, Oakland County and Wayne county.

 This Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Building & Maintaining the Community Collaborative & Supportive Services in the Warren, Roseville & Clinton Township Communities originates in the Macomb County office of the Department of Human Services.  The basic purpose of this program will be to implement the Family to Family community collaborative, retention, and support strategies in order to mobilize the community around the issues of child abuse and neglect;  locate existing neighborhood support services and develop new neighborhood support services; and to advocate for and support families.
