The Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) joined forces with the Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC) and Docufide, Inc. to offer the Michigan e-Transcript service. This service facilitates the electronic exchange of transcripts for all Michigan public and private high schools and colleges. Transcripts are sent through Docufide's Secure Transcript service in a manner compliant with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Michigan high school students/alumni and high schools can request and send transcripts electronically to other e-Transcript-registered institutions in Michigan and other participating Midwestern states in the MHEC at no cost to either the student or the high school (with the ability to send anywhere else at discounted student/alumni rates).
Michigan higher education institutions can receive the e-Transcript service at no cost. College students/alumni can also send electronic transcripts to other colleges, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the military, scholarship funds and other third-party destinations. (Note: At their choice, some higher education institutions may charge their college students for data handling costs.)

Additional Resource for High Schools
Webinars are offered for high schools from October 21 - December 30 on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. and Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. providing information on the initiative, the sending services and the registration process.
