How do I obtain information through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)?
For a copy of the central office file, a document or photo of any prisoner, parolee or probationer currently under the supervision of the MDOC, or who was under the supervision of the MDOC within the past five years, or for any document such as an operating procedure, you can make a request under the Michigan Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
