Mom - "Ok, let's go upstairs."
Scene 3 - Mom puts baby down on adult bed.
Mom - "How about mom and dad's bed? Alright, let's go to sleep, night night. Time for sleep."
Baby (internal dialogue) - "No offense mom but, I want to be in my crib. Don't you know a baby should sleep alone? It's dangerous, you might roll over on me."
Mom - "Ok, let's go to baby's room."
Scene 4 - Mom puts baby in crib.
Mom - "Here's your crib. And here's your bear."
Baby (internal dialogue) - "Mom, how can I sleep with all these things around me? Don't you know I shouldn't have any toys in the crib with me? No pillows or blankets either, plus I'm not even in my PJ's."
Mom removes things from crib
Mom - "Here, let's get rid of all this stuff. Let's change your diaper and get you in your sleep sack."
Scene 5 - Mom puts baby back in crib.
Mom - "Let's see how we do now."
Baby (internal dialogue) - "This is much better, I'm supposed to be on my back, never on my stomach and I feel so nice and comfortable in my PJ's."
Mom kisses baby goodnight.
Mom - "Night, night, sleep tight."
Announcer - "Remember when putting your baby down for a nap or for a good night's sleep, it's important to place them on their back, by themselves, in a crib and to remove all other items from the sleep area."
"For more information contact you local DHS worker."
