| Objectives |

To identify the needs of and problems impacting upon the migrant and seasonal farmworker population.

To research and document the issues related to the migrant and seasonal farmworker population.

To identify resources that are currently available.
-
To identify resources that need to be developed.
-
To identify strategies for securing the needed resources.

To establish target areas for action and create sub and ad hoc committees to respond to specific needs.

To develop action plans with specific assignments and timetables to achieve and/or advance each priority goal.
-
To establish a reporting system to monitor the progress of each sub and ad hoc committee.
-
To document the accomplishments and areas of concern of the Committee.
-
To share the Committee results with the migrant and seasonal farmworker community and appropriate state and federal department directors, Michigan congressional delegation, the state legislature and the Governor.
