• Activity for profit involving child abuse, neglect, exploitation, kidnapping, adoption schemes, prostitution or related crimes.
• Adulterating drugs, poisoning.
• Armed robbery.
• Arson.
• Assault, battery.
• Crimes related to children, vulnerable adults and animals.
• Criminal sexual conduct and related crimes.
• Cruelty toward or torture of any person.
• Fraud.
• Homicide, murder, manslaughter, mayhem, negligent homicide, attempted murder/homicide.
• Larceny.
• Narcotics, alcohol, controlled substance.
• Weapons/firearms.

The following crimes will result in denial or termination and will not be given consideration for an administrative review:

• Child abuse and neglect.
• Domestic violence.
• Homicide, murder.
• Contributing to the deliquency of a minor.
• Welfare fraud (of any kind.
• Assault and battery on a minor.

You may be denied enrollment or terminated as a child care provider due to a criminal background check on yourself or other adult household members. If you think you should still be allowed to provide child care, you may request an administrative review of your circumstances.
