03DHS and Children's Rights reach out-of-court agreement
Agreement improves services for vulnerable children
Ismael Ahmed, director of the Michigan Department of Human Services, today reached an out-of-court agreement with Children's Rights Inc., resolving a federal lawsuit over Michigan's child welfare system.
02July 7 is deadline to register to vote in primary election
Michigan residents can visit any Michigan Department of Human Services county office across the state to beat the July 7 deadline for voter registration applications for the Aug. 5 general primary election.
