Enterprise IT policies, standards and procedures are documented to assure consistency, efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of information technology services that support the business functions of the State.

Information Technology Policies
Policies document which organizations have the authority to define procedures in the specified process areas. Policies and procedures are part of the DMB Administrative Guide to State Government. Those policies that describe the Department of Information Technology's areas of authority are provided here.

Enterprise Product Standards

Standard Products
Specific products are being identified as Enterprise IT standards for the State. All product standards are reviewed, at a minimum, every two years. Currently standard products have been defined for the Desktop environment (including PDAs and printer-scanners), Web tools, Database software and tools, Servers in some functional areas, and Network devices and monitoring tools.

Procedures
Procedures document the requirements or specifications of a product or process and form the basis for IT standards for the State. They are organized into the four architectural domains, described in the DIT Strategic Plan: Application, Information, Integration and Infrastructure.
