SERVICES
Domiciliary Unit - Serves the individual who needs very little nursing care, but has needs that require a structured environment.
Skilled Nursing Care - Serves the individual with severe disabilities requiring continuous nursing care and supervision.
Basic Nursing Care - Serves the individual with moderate disabilities.
Special Needs Unit - Serves the individual who is ambulatory, but suffering from Alzheimer's Disease or other dementias. This 27-bed unit provides a structured program and environment to assure members suffering from dementias remain ambulatory and independent for as long as possible in their activities of daily living.
Following a medical examination and comprehensive evaluation, the physician and professional staff of the Home are responsible for determining the level of care a member will require.
The Home offers physician coverage as well as the following services: Pharmacy, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation (in-patient), Psychiatric Aftercare, Social Work, Routine Dental Examination, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Laboratory Services, Recreation Therapy, EKG, and Speciality Clinics.
Additional services are available on a fee-for-service basis: Podiatry, Dental Services, and Vision Services.
COSTS
Members are required to pay a maintenance charge, which is determined on an individual basis. Factors considered include the level of care required, ability to pay, with due consideration given for the needs of the member's dependents.
