The Attorney Grievance Commission (AGC) holds State attorneys accountable for any misconduct they may have entered into while serving their client. The Supreme Court of Michigan, which has exclusive supervisory jurisdiction over the Judicial Branch, created the AGC to promote integrity among Michigan lawyers. The Governor does not have administrative power over any issue falling under the Judicial Branch of Government.
