The Treatment Section of BSAAS is responsible for clinical services within the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment System. Staff provide technical assistance regarding Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery to coordinating agencies, providers of services, and the public. Staff are also responsible for monitoring of the system to insure federal funding requirements are met.

Managing Confidentiality of Patient Records
View the federal regulation, and information about a limited legal service, called "Action-line," available to the publicly-funded substance use disorder treatment system.
BSAAS supported the Michigan Addiction Project as part of a national partnership aimed at helping Americans understand addiction is a treatable brain disease; and in June 2007, a Legislative Briefing was held to inform policy makers and government leaders about recent advancements that have made in addressing drug and alcohol addiction, and strategies to mobilize around addiction treatment and recovery.
