Detroit, MI - On Monday, December 15, 2008, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM, the Michigan Civil Rights Commission will be holding a meeting and public forum at Wayne State University Law School in Detroit. The topic of the public forum will be racial disparities in health care, and the Commission will hear from both invited experts and the public.
The Commission meeting will begin at 4:00 PM, with the public forum starting at 5:00 PM. Both events will be held in the auditorium of the law school. The law school is located at 471 West Palmer Street, Detroit, MI 48202.
Both the meeting and public forum are open to the public with opportunities for public comment. Please contact the Department if you would like to attend and require a reasonable
