Civil Rights Commission To Host Meeting and Public Forum in Hamtramck

The Michigan Civil Rights Commission has scheduled a formal meeting and public forum for Monday, April 27, 2009, beginning at 3:00 PM. The meeting will take place at the People's Community Services H. Irving Mayson Hamtramck Neighborhood Center, located at 8625 Joseph Campau Avenue, Hamtramck, MI 48212.

The formal business meeting will begin at 3:00 PM. The public forum will follow at 4:00 PM in the same location. The public forum will address the concerns of local residents, due in part to the diversity of the city. Both the meeting and public forum are open to the public with opportunities for public comment.
