Senator Clarke & Civil Rights Department To Hold Detroit Press Conference On CMU Nooses

WHO:  Michigan State Senator Hansen Clarke & Linda V. Parker, Director of the Michigan Department of Civil Rights

WHAT:  Holding a press conference to publicly address the discovery of four nooses hung on the campus of Central Michigan University 

WHEN:   TODAY, Friday, November 16, 2007 at 1 1:30 AM

WHERE:  The Michigan Department of Civil Rights-Detroit Office,  Cadillac Place Building,  3054 W. Grand Blvd., 3rd Floor, in Detroit.

WHY:  Yesterday Central Michigan University announced that a student found four nooses hanging in a classroom inside the Engineering and Technology Building on Monday.
