Career Preparation System
Click here for: Sooner or later, all students will seek employment. The Career Preparation System is designed to provide all students completing the Michigan educational system with the necessary academic, technical and work behavior knowledge and skills for success in a career of their choice and lifelong learning. There are seven interconnecting components.
Career and Technical Education
Click here for: Students enrolled in Career and Technical Education programs will have the opportunity to acquire skills that prepare them for successful career entry, advancement and/or continuing education. These skills are transferable as well as job specific and basic to the students’ general education, providing them with the foundation for life-long learning. CTE programs are categorized in six career pathways.

CIP Self-Review
Click here for: The CIP Program Self Review process is designed to be a growth experience for teachers and administrators. The information is reviewed and utilized within the TRAC system to help identify area concerns and technical assistance needs, thereby insuring quality instructional delivery to your students.
TRAC
Click here for: The Technical Review Assistance and Compliance (TRAC) system addresses the Federal requirements for a monitoring system and provides technical assistance to local district administrators, teachers, and staff for continual improvement of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.
