On June 30th at 2:00 p.m., the Michigan Department of Education is partnering with Learning Point Associates to host a 90 minute webinar to support Michigan innovation teams interested in developing a proposal for Project ReImagine. The webinar is not technical in nature, but is designed to provide ideas and strategies to meet the need to significantly reform teaching and learning in Michigan. State Superintendent Mike Flanagan is asking districts to "reimagine" their preK-12 instructional and administrative systems and make entrepreneurial, systemic changes to dramatically change and improve education in Michigan. Michigan Department of Education is seeking innovative system-wide reform - not change through individual programs or projects - that will ensure all students learn and achieve at high levels.
