Lanes to be closed for US-41 Menominee River bridge work

STARTING DATE: Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008

ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008

PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be sealing the deck of the US-41 interstate bridge over the Menominee River. Work will be restricted to the portion of the bridge over the railroad tracks.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: This work will require temporary lane closures, but one lane will remain open in both directions. Work will be done from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), daily.

CUSTOMER BENEFIT: When completed, this project will extend the service life of the bridge.
